The 2010 National Conference of the Electric Energy Society of Australia (EESA)

Tavrida Electric Australia took part in the 2010 National Conference of the Electric Energy Society of Australia (EESA) held in Sydney in early September. This conference is the only event in Australia that is exclusively focused on electricity supply, touching mainly on distribution and transmission and associated engineering philosophies. The theme for this year’s conference, “Watts’s up- Designing future proof energy networks” highlighted the challenges being faced by the Australian electricity industry.

The Energy 21C conference & exhibition

Tavrida Electric Australia participated in the Energy 21C conference & exhibition which took place in September 2009 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. The Energy21C conference brought together more than 2,100 industry delegates, speakers and exhibitors to address key themes of customers, climate change, networks and competencies.

19th June, 2008 Tavrida Electric opened the new plant in Russian Federation

On June 19, 2008 the General Director of the Industrial Group Tavrida Electric, Dr. Alexey Chaly, held a formal ceremony opening the new plant in Yoshkar-Ola.

In 2007, the world largest plant was established in Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic, Russia. It can manufacture switching modules with a projected capacity of 50 000 sets a year. This will satisfy the growing needs of the Russian market. In 2009 the manufacturing of reclosers is foreseen.

For those who have been waiting for our new advanced products we are glad to inform that new product range of high duty circuit breakers, so called «shell» type, (31.5kA, 12kV, 15kV, 2000A, fixed and draw out types) is fully certified now by CESI and KEMA to meet the requirements of IEC and IEEE markets. A few months earlier these products were widely accepted in Russian and Chinese markets. At the moment Shell type circuit breakers are fully suitable for global market requirements.
